None of these services carries advertising, analytics or tracking, and none has a contact form. What a service fetches from a third party is in the table above; beyond that, none of them fetches anything from anyone. Where something is fetched, the third party learns your IP address and your browser string in the process, and nothing else.
The server logs hold an IP address, the page requested, the time and a browser string. We use them to run the sites and to keep abuse off them.
If you switch language, your browser remembers it in a cookie and sends it with every request so the pages open in the language you chose; what it is called on which service is in the table above. All it holds is “de” or “en”, not an identifier. Whatever a service additionally keeps in session storage is in that table too; it stays on your device and is gone when you close the tab. You can refuse both by blocking cookies and site storage for the service in question in your browser.
Our service providers can take this data out of Switzerland, to the EU and the USA.
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act you may at any time ask what personal data we hold about you, have inaccurate data corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. An e-mail to info@ova.dev is enough.
